FAQ

When are our services?
Our Services of the Lord’s Day are at 11:00am on Sundays. This service is also broadcast live online via Facebook and YouTube, and available on-demand for those who are unable to attend in-person.

Where should I park?
We have ample parking around the church. The best place to park is by Entrance #3, which is on the other side of Whole Foods. If you follow the signs heading towards AMC Theaters or Boscovs, you will find the church. Similarly, if you’re by Legoland (next to the big giraffe!), the church entrance will be behind the left-side of the giraffe.

Where do my children go?
Children are welcome to participate in the service. We have children bulletins geared for children who are 3 yrs + and older.

Am I expected to put money in the offering basket? How do you see giving?
There is no cost to attend our worship services. We believe the giving of our time, talents, and treasures are a response to the Good News. To that end, one-time donations, weekly offerings or regular pledges are always welcome.

What is a Church on the Mall service like?
We gather on the first day of the week to give witness to the Resurrection. Our services follow a typical Presbyterian format including prayers, confession, scripture, singing, and sermon. Our Pastor Lori Kosinski, gives sermons that apply scripture to our everyday lives. We often hear that during worship the Spirit's presence is evident in many ways.

We practice two sacraments - baptism and communion. Baptisms are performed as they are requested in conjunction with the Pastor. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month and at several special services throughout the year. Ours is an open table and we invite everyone who believes in Jesus Christ to participate in the meal.

What should I wear?
There is no dress code at Church on the Mall. The bottom line is that you've chosen to join us for service and we are thrilled to have you with us. Wear what you feel comfortable in!

How can I get involved at Church on the Mall?
There are a multitude of different ways to serve. Just talk to one of our ministry leaders to see how you can help or contact the church office and we'll get you connected to the right person.
